Working on a building

For my english-speaking friends - this update is in english.

Mum and dad has a bigger project going on here - rebuilding and fixing an old house. We've been filling the house with sand and tearing down the roof...

Excitingly enough the ground under the floors was full of stones.... Asgeir threw out the smaller stones laying by the foot of the big one. The big one we're trying to blow up...

My great grandfather built this house during the second world war, and they did it thoroughly... With stones and big logs. Ground walls are at least 1 meter thick... and probably much older than the rest of the house.

And of course, no proper house without an earth cellar. It was located under the biggest living room, with room for potatoes and other important things. After we removed the floor, only some gigantic logs keeps us from going in the cellar... We put down some extra protection.

Renovating houses is no easy task...
